Privacy Policy
Vyrl collects the information needed to create videos, manage your account, operate billing, and publish content to social platforms you choose to connect. We do not sell your personal data.
Data We Collect
- Account details such as email address, profile metadata, and authentication status.
- Project, editor, media, prompt, generation, export, and usage data needed to run Vyrl.
- Billing and subscription metadata processed through Stripe.
- Support messages, feedback, diagnostics, logs, cookies, and local storage data.
- Connected social account data, including provider account IDs, channel, page, profile, or destination names, destination IDs, granted OAuth scopes, token expiry, publishing status, and related metadata.
- OAuth access tokens and refresh tokens for connected integrations. Tokens are stored encrypted and used only to provide the connected publishing and analytics features you request.
- Publishing data such as captions, titles, privacy settings, publish options, external post IDs, external post URLs, errors, and analytics or insights returned by connected platforms.
Social Account Integrations
If you connect YouTube, TikTok, Facebook Pages, Meta, or Instagram, Vyrl uses OAuth to request permissions from that platform. Depending on the platform and permissions you approve, Vyrl may list available publishing destinations, upload or publish videos and captions you select, retrieve publishing status, and fetch page, profile, channel, or post analytics.
For YouTube, Vyrl may request access to upload videos to your YouTube channel and read basic channel information needed to identify the destination. Vyrl's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Vyrl also follows the YouTube API Services Developer Policies.
How We Use Data
- Provide, secure, troubleshoot, and improve Vyrl.
- Create, edit, generate, render, export, and publish user-approved videos.
- Authenticate connected social integrations and keep them connected until revoked.
- Show connected publishing destinations, publish history, errors, and analytics.
- Process payments, prevent abuse, enforce terms, and comply with legal obligations.
Vyrl does not use Google user data for advertising, credit decisions, surveillance, or selling data. Vyrl does not use TikTok user data for cross-context behavioral advertising or sell TikTok user data.
Sharing Data
We share data with service providers that help operate Vyrl, including hosting, database, authentication, storage, analytics, billing, support, AI generation, rendering, and platform publishing providers. When you publish to a connected platform, the selected video, caption, title, settings, and related metadata are sent to that platform under its own privacy policy and terms.
Security And Retention
We use technical and organizational safeguards to protect data, including encrypted storage for connected social account tokens. We keep data for as long as needed to provide Vyrl, maintain records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and enforce agreements. OAuth tokens and connected social account metadata are deleted or made unusable when deletion is requested and verified, unless retention is required by law, security, fraud prevention, or billing records.
Your Rights And Controls
- You can request account export, correction, or deletion by contacting support.
- You can revoke Google and YouTube access from Google security settings.
- You can also revoke Vyrl's access in TikTok, Facebook, Meta, or Instagram account settings.
- You can request deletion of connected social account data through Vyrl's data deletion instructions.
